Welcome to Math Minute

Wednesday, April 15, 2015

The Excellence in Youth team at Westside Community Schools is excited to host the First Annual Extreme Math Day on Tuesday, April 4.  During 3rd quarter, we will post weekly Math Minutes where you can expand your learning on a topic related to math.

Some Math Minutes will require you to leave a comment on this blog.  Others will have you making or solving something.  The ideas are pretty general so that a wide range of students can participate.  You don’t have to do everything suggested for each Math Minute, just challenge yourself to learn something new and HAVE FUN!

Invitations to the Extreme Math Day on April 15 will be based on the participation in the weekly Math Minutes.
